Govardhan Parikrama Package — E-Rickshaw & Private Car
The most sacred act of devotion in Braj Bhumi — circumambulating the divine Govardhan Hill. 21 km by E-Rickshaw covering Daan Ghati, Radha Kund, Mansi Ganga, and Mukharvind. Part of our 2-day Mathura-Vrindavan package.
Why Govardhan Parikrama?
According to the Shrimad Bhagavatam, Lord Krishna lifted the Govardhan Hill on his little finger for 7 days and 7 nights to protect the people of Braj from torrential rains sent by a wrathful Indra. This divine act — Govardhan Leela — is why the hill itself is considered a manifestation of Krishna.
Performing Govardhan Parikrama (circumambulation) is believed to grant the same merit as performing pilgrimages to all four Dhams. It is especially auspicious during Kartik month, Ekadashi, and Annakoot festival.
